Have you ever gone to a lunch spot because you’d heard about their amazing sourdough rolls? That’s what led my daughter and I to drive to Nolensville, a quaint little suburb of Nashville a few weeks back to lunch at Wabash Southern Kitchen. If you’re local, you’ll want to add this hidden gem to your lunch spots.
Six Practical Gift Ideas for Women
Today I’m sharing six practical gift ideas for women as a kick off to the holiday shopping season. I know practicality may seem a little boring, but as a woman that receives and gives my share of gifts each year, I can attest to the excitement of receiving something I need and will use.
Six Practical Gift Ideas for Women:
I know some people that find products and brands they love and they become loyal, repeat buyers. There are a few products and brands that have my completely loyalty, but that leaves lots of room for me to try new products, which I love to do! Especially, new beauty and wellness products. Over the last few weeks, I’ve been trying out new to me products and today I’d like to share eight new summer products to try with you.

5 Lovely Mother’s Day Gift Ideas You’ll love to give and Receive
Around this time each year, my husband and daughters start
asking for gift ideas for Mother’s Day. Each year I might give them hints, but
I don’t come right out and tell them to buy me something, because I want to be
surprised! This weekend when I was asked again what I want for Mother’s Day, I
decided to create a lovely Mother’s Day gift ideas I’d love to give and receive
post in case you need a little inspiration as well or have family members
asking what you’d like to receive.
Celebrating Earth Day with Nature’s Path Sunrise Vanilla Yogurt Bowls
Happy Earth day! Over the years, I’ve written several blog posts to share how my family honors our earth by showcasing what we are planting or events we’ll be attending. There are many resources available on the EarthDay.org site and I hope you’ll visit and find a way to plug in and help where you are. This year, I’m focusing on shining a light of food resources and farms that are doing their part to help stop food scarcity. One such company is Nature’s Path Organic Foods, so I made Sunrise vanilla yogurt bowls to celebrate Earth day and to share a little more about Nature’s Path and their recent annual Gardens for Good Program.

Welcome to City Tap House Nashville:
Fantastic hunger relief scholars program for teens
Food and water, two resources most of us in America; especially in suburbia, take for granted. I know that I do. Turning on the tap for clean water, or opening my pantry for food is something I’m so accustomed to doing; I’ve become spoiled. Sure, my family and I give to our local food pantries, Goodwill store, and local shelter and we do our best not to waste water by turning off taps and conserving water when gardening, but there is so much more we can and should do to help protect our natural resources and help end hunger. I’m thrilled to partner with General Mills on their hunger relief scholars program for teens today. I think it’s a fantastic program! If you have teens, please read on!
