Here's our first Wordless Wednesday of 2019. I'm sharing my attempts to capture the sunset as we drive. My husband isn't going to pull over so I can snap a perfect pic, so these are candid shots from my passenger seat.

How Nature walks help me get back in shape & Own My Greatness
in @dependbrand #OwnYourGreatness FamilyLife, #AD, health, nature, walks, weight loss, by Linda A Kinsman, Tuesday, October 10, 2017
I have always loved being outside. I love to feel the sunshine and wind on my face. I adore snapping photos of the abundance of beauty in my surroundings, whether I’m in the middle of a park, or walking the fence line on my land. I love gardening, especially flowers and herbs. But truth be told, I’ve let my activity levels decline over the last year. I’ve come to the point in life that health and happiness go hand in hand, so I’m adding nature walks to my routine this fall to get back in shape and feel great again. Read on to discover how and please join me!

Happy Valentine's Day! You would think I'd choose red for this month and I almost did- but then I was greeted with the most magnificent sunrise this morning and was inspired to choose Sunrise Pink instead.
Here is my Pinterest collaboration for the month. I really love the sunrise ombre looks I found. I'd love for you to stop by and follow me on Pinterest.
If you like sunrise, sunset and nature photos as much as I do, why not follow me on Instagram where I share alot of these kind of photos!

Wordless Wednesday: Gray skies are going to clear up

The photos I'm sharing today were taken from my front porch a few days ago when a unexpected rain shower blessed us with some much needed rain.
This pop shower started with these big, beautiful raindrops.
Then quickly turned into a downpour.
And just as quickly as the rain started, it stopped and left everything refreshed and beautiful in its wake.
Happy Wednesday everyone.

Wordless Wednesday: Trees abloom
in gardening, Nashville, nature, pear tree blooms, spring, by Linda A Kinsman, Wednesday, March 16, 2016
When does a simple walk to your mailbox turn into a nature trip? When the day was as gorgeous as yesterday was here! Our row of ornamental Pear trees called to me. I must be part bee!

Acorns, leaves, berries found on our nature walks are displayed on a depression glass pie plate and small vase- making inviting nature into our home a breeze.
This just because bouquet made my day! I adore Sunflowers, Daisy's and Mums!
Adding copper and Autumn toned leaves to this iron wall art makes a happy statement.
If I could wear this perfect fall flower palette- either in my makeup or clothing, I would.
I hope that you have been able to get outside and enjoy this beautiful season!

I can hardly believe it is the last day of September! I just had to share a Wordless Wednesday post to end the month on a pretty note.
One of the reasons we fell in love with this property years ago was because we came to view it on a later September afternoon much like this one.
Look at all the lush grass and greens calling you to come explore! Taking nature walks with my family is one of the best perks of living in the country.
On this recent, beautiful afternoon, my girls and I were captivated by the September sunlight, mild on our faces and beautiful when seen through the leaves of the trees.
We admired how it turned our pond into a beautiful mirror of light and reflection.
We stayed in this spot the longest. Transfixed by the sights and sounds of nature, lost in companionable silence. Breathing in the moment. Adding another memory to our book of life.
Happy Wordless Wednesday dear readers!

Another work week is coming to a close and a new weekend is ready to begin. Can we all just pause for a minute to praise the weekend? Whether you are packing up the family car and heading out on a road trip, or heading to the mall for back to school shopping, there’s one thing you have to pack to fuel up for your weekend- a healthy, yet simple to eat snack.
I’m all about portable snacks in my purse! Nine times out of ten my family and friends can rely on my “purse of plenty” to hold at least one snack option, usually a bar of some sort. That’s why I was really jazzed to give Nature Valley’s new Simple Nut bars a try!
Just seeing the box on the Publix shelf made my mouth water! The box reads “Nuts and seeds from nature. It’s that simple (and delicious). And you know what? Nature Valley is spot on with these bars! We couldn’t wait to try the Almond Cashew Sea Salt bars and we were not disappointed one bit! I LOVED the light saltiness of the cashews, almonds, sunflower and pumpkin seeds with just the right amount of honey.
When my youngest daughter couldn’t finish her bar and asked me if I’d like it, I gladly accepted it without one bit of guilt! The only problem I had was a question of manners- do I lick the yummy goodness left off the wrapper or not? In the end, I didn’t, but I would not blame one person who did lick it!
Nature Valley Simple nut bars come in two new flavors, Almond Cashew Sea Salt and Roasted Peanut Honey Original. You can learn more about these bars, including the nutrition facts by visiting Nature Valley Simple Nut Bars. For a limited time, you can save 75 cents off by downloading a coupon from Publix at readyplansave.com/savings!
Win It!
No matter what this weekend has on tap for you, you need to fuel up and I can’t think of a better way to help you with this endeavor than by giving you money!
