Wordless Wednesday: Fiona
in #WordlessWednesday, 2016, cat, green eyes, kitty, pets, playful, by Linda A Kinsman, Wednesday, January 06, 2016
Welcome to my first Wordless Wednesday of 2016! Today we celebrate our lovable, snugable, playful two year old kitty, Fiona.
I can hardly believe it is the last day of September! I just had to share a Wordless Wednesday post to end the month on a pretty note.
One of the reasons we fell in love with this property years ago was because we came to view it on a later September afternoon much like this one.
Look at all the lush grass and greens calling you to come explore! Taking nature walks with my family is one of the best perks of living in the country.
On this recent, beautiful afternoon, my girls and I were captivated by the September sunlight, mild on our faces and beautiful when seen through the leaves of the trees.
We admired how it turned our pond into a beautiful mirror of light and reflection.
We stayed in this spot the longest. Transfixed by the sights and sounds of nature, lost in companionable silence. Breathing in the moment. Adding another memory to our book of life.
Happy Wordless Wednesday dear readers!
Please share in comments: When was the last time you went on a nature walk and where were you walking?
My youngest daughter has a way with animals. She loves them, they love her. She and our outside cat have a very special bond which is clearly evident to anyone that gets to watch them together. Here are some photos from their recent "photo shoot". There were close to 40 photos in this session, it was hard for me to choose which ones to share. All photos were taken by my daughter with Catty-Cat's approval.
Catty-Cat comes when my daughter calls her. |
Starting things off with a good chin scratch. |
Catty-Cat plops and asks for more love. Yes, my daughter can pet that belly! |
Catty- Cat insists on more petting. She's so pretty, who could refuse? |
Happy Cat, happy girl.
Do you have a Wordless Wednesday post up this week too? Leave me a comment with your blogs name and I'll stop by to check it out.

I love sharing Wordless Wednesday posts and just had to get one up for January so I started searching through my folders when I happened upon this beauty.

My husband took this picture from our back deck. We have Deer on our property daily but usually just Doe's and Fawns. It's rare to see the Buck, especially during hunting season.
I'm glad my husband isn't a hunter.
Having said that, we know hunters and have a healthy respect for their humane hunting methods.
Is there a hunter in your family? Share in comments! Do you have a Wordless Wednesday post up too? Leave your link in comments so I can stop by.
Almost Wordless Wednesday- Waiting on Winter
in #WordlessWednesday, chocolate, Christmas, Hot, weather, by Linda A Kinsman, Wednesday, December 04, 2013
When December rolls around we Kinsman's want to drink this:
And bundle up and walk around the local town square on a crisp December night to enjoy these:
Come on Mother Nature, stop toying with us here in middle Tennessee with your 72 degree days!
We need a little Christmas Now!
What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?
As promised in this post about my #bugout insect- I'd like to share our newest fur baby with you.
Fiona loves sunbathing. |
And stretching out to her full length in the kitchen when I'm cooking. |
Fiona really loves taking her older fur-sisters favorite toy- Eeek. But chirping, talking, loving and purring is one of Fiona's Favorite past times. |
Love time with Daddy. |
Wordless Wednesday

Last month we spent the day at the Tennessee State Fair. A fun day was had by all and I wanted to give another nod to all the people who brought their animals. The one thing people may not tell you about Fowls is that they can get stinky! See what I did there? Foul vs. Fowl? ;)
How I got home without one of these cuties is a mystery. |
Check out this head dress! |
Hey there big fella. |
Just plain Stunning! |
Happy HUMP Day! Okay, I couldn't resist. My girls do the commercial total justice, me... well, I'm a work in progress. :)

I couldn't work on this post without a particular song running through my head again and again. So, I decided to share my pictures and some lyrics with you today.
Any Classic Rock fan reading, may have already guessed the song running through my head: Led Zeppelin's Ramble On.
Ramble On
(Courtesy azlyrics.com)
Leaves are falling all around, It's time I was
on my way.
Thanks to you, I'm much obliged for such a pleasant stay.
But now it's time for me to go. The autumn moon lights my way.
For now I smell the rain, and with it pain, and it's headed my way.
Sometimes I grow so tired, but I know I've got one thing I got to do...
[Chorus]
Ramble On, And now's the time, the time is now, to sing my song.
I'm goin' 'round the world, I got to find my girl, on my way.
I've been this way ten years to the day, Ramble On,
Gotta find the queen of all my dreams.
Got no time to for spreadin' roots, The time has come to be gone.
And to' our health we drank a thousand times, it's time to Ramble On.
[Chorus]
Mine's a tale that can't be told, my freedom I hold dear.
How years ago in days of old, when magic filled the air.
T'was in the darkest depths of Mordor, I met a girl so fair.
But Gollum, and the evil one crept up and slipped away with her, her,
her....yeah.
[Chorus]
Gonna ramble on, sing my song. Gotta keep-a-searchin' for my baby...
Gonna work my way, round the world. I can't stop this feelin' in my heart
Gotta keep searchin' for my baby. I can't find my bluebird!
