We had a lot of family activities at the end of July, which happens every year. It’s such a busy time for everyone, so I figured it would be okay for me to take a little blogging break. Now, I’m back feeling refreshed and excited to share one of our recent outings to a local farm.
I missed the opportunity to go to the screener of Sinners in April, and with “Maycember” being a real thing, Sinners fell off my radar for a bit. I need to watch as many films as possible since I’m a member of Nashville’s film critics association, and was happy to see two recent box office films available for streaming. Today, I’m discussing Sinners, available to stream on HBO Max. Did I think it was a good date night option? I’ll let you know and try not to add any spoilers.

It’s Friday, in the middle of July, so I don’t think it’s a stretch to assume you have some type of social gathering planned for this weekend. If you have non-drinkers in your social circle, too, I think you’ll be happy to read more about a delicious drink dupe from Better Than Booze and pick some up for the weekend.
While I love reading other Friday Faves weekly posts, I can’t seem to get my posts done with any regularity. So, instead of giving up on this writing theme completely, I’m going to do a Friday Faves for July, which showcases fun and sensible products that arrived too late for me to add them to June’s Gift Ideas For Dads. I’m living a true summertime WAHM lifestyle, folks!
July finds me with an enviable book stack, and with more on the way, I decided it would be fun to do a book roundup post sharing six fun and inspiring books I think are perfect for summer reading.
