Over the long Independence Day weekend, my husband and I streamed Project Hail Mary. Since we didn’t have the opportunity to screen the film back in March, it’s been challenging not to dive into all the reviews posted about it since then, but I managed to go into this viewing with a clean slate, which is always what I aim to do as a film critic.
