It’s the last day of October and I feel like this month had wings because it went by so quickly. I wish all who celebrate a very happy and safe Halloween. Are you looking for a fun film stream tonight or this weekend? Then check out Wolfs on Apple TV +. As a member of the Music City Film Critics Association, I recently received a press screener pass for this and must say, my husband and I really enjoyed Wolfs. Clooney and Pitt teamed up again to bring their own special brand of comedic timing to this film. Here’s my no-spoiler review.

It feels and looks very fall like today in Nashville, TN. area because the remnants of Hurricane Helene showed up here before sunrise. We’re blessed to be okay and I send out well wishes for all who were in the path of it. Even though I didn’t hit my goal of a weekly Friday Faves post this month like I shared on Labor Day, I’m happy to be sharing my second today and will try again in October.
Happy Friday dear readers. I hope you are enjoying the last few days of summer as much as I am. Even though it's gotten hot here again, I’m turning my thoughts towards fall gardening and homemaking. Last month, I was honored to become an ambassador for Storey Publishing, so today’s book is the first of what I hope to be many collaborations with it for them. Today's review is about the beloved herb Lavender. It's a staple in my here garden.
I’m honored to be part of the press that’s providing coverage of the 55th Nashville Film Festival, which kicks off in Nashville, Tennessee this evening at 5;30pm. I wish I could attend this year's red carpet event at the Belcourt Theatre like I did two years ago. It was an exciting event and I learned a great deal about providing coverage at a festival. This year’s festival looks just as exciting and I’ll be sharing coverage throughout the week here on the blog and on socials.
