It feels and looks very fall like today in Nashville, TN. area because the remnants of Hurricane Helene showed up here before sunrise. We’re blessed to be okay and I send out well wishes for all who were in the path of it. Even though I didn’t hit my goal of a weekly Friday Faves post this month like I shared on Labor Day, I’m happy to be sharing my second today and will try again in October.

I literally did a happy dance and hugged this amazing box set because I am absolutely pumped to own it! Friends was and is one of my all time favorite TV series and I still watch episodes at least once a week. I still find it highly entertaining.

There is so much to love about FRIENDS! In case you haven’t watched it, this show follows the lives and loves of a close-knit group of friends living in New York City: siblings Ross (David Schwimmer) and Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), along with friends Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) and Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston).
I can’t wait to watch this beloved series from beginning to end. I’ll relive some of my 90’s era hair and style choices that were influenced by Monica, Rachel and Phoebe,while laughing and copying some of the now iconic catchphrases of the show. My Thoughts:
I recently became an ambassador for Cool Springs Press and this book was my first selection with them. It spoke to me because it covers all the things I enjoy like cooking and home and garden projects. In essense, it was a perfect book for me to read!
Since I’ve been a work at home Mom (WAHM) for over two decades, some of the topics were like visiting with an old friend. The topics felt natural, while still being inspirational because we homemakers love to share our homemaking ideals, plans, and goals.
I very much enjoyed the friendly feel of this book and how the author breaks up the chapters into seasons so you can quickly find something motivating no matter the season outside. She discusses creating family traditions around nature, which brought back so many happy memories of my family doing just that right here on our own little piece of paradise. It was a full circle moment,which reminded me that I’ve been living a simpler life for many years and I should be sharing more of that with my community here.
