Are you looking for a fun film stream tonight or this weekend? Then check out Wolfs on Apple TV +. As a member of the Music City Film Critics Association, I recently received a press screener pass for this and must say, my husband and I really enjoyed Wolfs. Clooney and Pitt teamed up again to bring their own special brand of comedic timing to this film. Here’s my no-spoiler review.
They are not Partners, They Are Wolfs!
My thanks to Apple TV+ for the complimentary screener pass to Wolfs, so that I could share my review as a member of the MCFCA. No compensation was given and all opinions are my own.

According to Apple TV+ “ Two rival fixers, played by George Clooney and Brad Pitt, cross paths when they are both called in to help cover up a prominent New York officials misstep. Over the course of one explosive night, they’ll have to set aside their petty grievances and their egos to finish the job.”
My Thoughts:

Being a fan of the Ocean’s Trilogy, I was really excited to learn that Clooney and Pitt were teaming up again. I was sad we missed seeing this one at theaters, but sometimes at home viewing is better when films are full of night scenes like this one.
In Wolfs, our two fixers aren’t friends or partners. They’re strangers thrust together to get a highly sensitive job, a job that normally only a lone Wolf takes on, done and they must do it together. It doesn’t take long before these pros start stepping on each other's toes and their true personalities start to shine.
The writing is good, however, I felt some of the characters needed more fleshing out. I did enjoy the dark, gritty New York City night, it really helped set the tone. Even the cold weather played a part in this film. There was some predictability, but the banter between Clooney and Pitt helped pull you through so it was never boring and actually came off as highly entertaining.
The soundtrack ( hello Sade) helped us get to know the personalities of the nameless characters as well, but the real scene stealer for me was the kid, played by Austin Abrams. His night was the wildest of them all and yet, he still manages to show up as a kid trying to do the right thing and he makes you feel for him and his plight.
The Takeaway:
This is a solid return for Clooney and Pitt and I was happy to see them team up again. It’s a fun action-comedy-crime film perfect to see with friends or for a date night. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I will say, I think there are enough unanswered questions for a Wolfs sequel. Head on over to Apple TV+ to watch Wolfs.
