Our Review:

With wonderful flavors like Apple Pie (my personal favorite), Peanut Butter Cookie (my hubby’s favorite) and Banana’s Foster (my kids favorite) you are sure to find your favorite too, that is if you aren’t a Larabar fan already!
Even though these bars are higher in calories than some others on the market, in my opinion they are worth it! They taste so fresh and good and they stay with you for a long time making them the perfect snack for busy days. I invite you to go here to see all their flavor options and to like Larabar on Facebook.

Before Sneaky Pete’s contacted me to consider doing a product review I had never heard of them. I was intrigued by the idea of drinking an Oat beverage that’s good for you. I figured this product may be a good option for school mornings when my daughters don’t feel like eating much. I could add a piece of toast to this drink and feel pretty good about their meal.

The timing was perfect for us to try them, as today was the first day of school for them.  Be sure to enter the giveaway below, but first, let me introduce you to Sneaky Pete’s.

My Review:

We couldn't wait to give these a try!

I love when we get to try products as a family. Since Sneaky Pete’s comes in 12 oz. bottles, it was easy for all of us to get a good taste of each of the 5 available: Raspberry, Mango, Apple, Peach and Grape.

We chose Peach first and overall gave it high marks.  My daughters think it tastes yummy, like Peach Oatmeal, but in a good way. My husband and I agreed. It really does taste like you are drinking peaches and oatmeal. We would but this flavor again.

Next came Mango which can best be described in one word: YUMMY!  We want more of this flavor.

The following day we gave Apple at try: We loved it too! It tastes like Apple Cider. So good and apple-y!  We would buy this flavor again as well.

So, far so good.  And with the exception of a little bit of an aftertaste, we didn’t have any complaints.

That is until the next day we tried Raspberry. Oh how my oldest daughter had been looking forward to Raspberry day. Sadly all four of us thought Raspberry was terrible! Even though it wasn’t too sweet, which was good, (some of these flavors run on the sweet side) we just could not drink Raspberry. It tasted like lipstick. I dumped it all out and hoped for a better result with Grape.

Grape didn’t let us down! It tastes like Grape Kool-Aid both daughters said.  The kids really liked this one and the hubby and I enjoyed it too.

*We highly recommend 4 out of the 5 flavors Sneaky Pete’s has to offer.* Who knows, you may even like Raspberry!

I've been slowly ( and by slowly I  mean, I'm glad my Mom doesn't live close, slowly) working my way down my Spring Cleaning To Do List.
This is over and above my regular domestic chores, which for today happens to be bathroom duty.  I usually do all the wiping, swiping and scrubbing, turn around and smile at my handy work and my finishing touch: A Spritz of Lysol to make things smell ever cleaner!
After reading this article, I've decided I'll stop all my spritzing and just open up the windows instead.

I especially enjoyed these tips on Cleaning with 5 Basic Tools.  I didn't know Lemon Juice could be a cleaning agent, did you? Read the list and then please come on back and let me know which tool you will use.

Have a great day and remember to Smile! It's the best gift to give and receive!

Walking has long been a part of my healthy living regimen, but last week I noticed that my once "easy" 1-mile power walk wasn't quite so easy.

If I was pushing myself to power it up in a brisk 15-minute mile on Monday, well being jazzed about a 2-mile power walk with weights on Tuesday seemed...torturous!

Sunday is all about family time here and this Sunday was no different, so as I'm picking out paint colors and listening to the happy chatter from my oldest daughter, it occurred to me the reason why I was pooped after one measly mile!

My blog! Yikes! I LOVE my blog! But, is this love making my jeans a tidge tighter just like my hubby's eating habits did way back in our dating days?

Yep, sad I know but true. Blogging is a sedentary hobby or job ( depending on your blog) and I have fallen prey to the PC spread! I try to watch the clock and limit my time online, but still, I obviously need to do better.

Maybe I will take my walking outside now that there is a hint of spring in the air. Maybe I will be joining the local walking club.

I'll play with the kids after school for just a few more minutes. Maybe I'll just get out on my land and climb up our hill a couple times.

So that's my plan for the day ( and week, and Please!) the month: Move more, type less. Be a clock watcher (online and off), schedule
moving just like I schedule everything else.

Is your blog making your butt look big too? How about your mates? Are you leading a too sedentary lifestyle?

For once, we ladies aren't the only ones suffering, oh no, the guys with desk jobs have it even worse! Check out this great article I just read on how to avoid on the job weight gain
and then stand up, do a few quick squats, run to the kitchen and down a glass of water. Then come back here and let me know what you think!

Remember to smile, treat yourself well and put the oxygen mask on yourself first!
