Hello, and happy 2024! I might be overstating the obvious here, since my last blog post was on December 22,2023, but I have relished having time off to fully enjoy the holidays and my people. I’m coming back to work today feeling rested and ready to take on this new year full of possibilities. Before I dive into this year, I thought it’d be fun to take a look at my top ten blog posts of 2023 and share what’s in store for 2024.
Top Ten Blog Posts of 2023 on My WAHM Plan
With thousands of views, this delightful cookbook comes in at number one. I was delighted to receive an email about reviewing this cookbook because my husband and I watch America’s Test Kitchen on the weekends and we collect cookbooks. I hosted a giveaway and added it to a link party, so I’ll be doing more book giveaways and sharing link parties this year.
Number Two: Boxed Water for Earth Day and Beyond:
I love celebrating Earth Day by showcasing a brand, non-profit, or organization that helps support the betterment of our planet and Boxed Water, a Michigan-based company whose mission is to fulfill the need for packaged water in a more environmentally friendly way that allows them to give back checks all those boxes (no pun intended!) for me and my readers. I’m honored to share sustainable brands and programs with you and will do more of this starting soon.
Any time I can celebrate women and help them feel better, I’m going to do it, so I try to post something uplifting and helpful on International Women’s Day. Last year, I had the privilege of sharing some helpful information about supplements and hosting a giveaway for some clean vitamins, which are now part of my daily care and beauty routine. I’ll be sharing more clean products for women and those we love this year.
Number Four: How to Refresh Your Bedroom for Soothing Summer Slumber:
Getting to refresh my bedroom with an all-new set of Beddy’s all in one zippered bedding was a highlight of last summer. I absolutely adore this bedding and how lovely our master bedroom looked with it. You all really liked this post, both here on the blog and on social media. Stay tuned for more home decor, accessories and room refreshes in 2024.
Number Five: Creed III: A look into Adonis Creed’s Past and a battle he must Win:
I can’t tell you how surprised and delighted I am to see one of my film reviews make the top ten, not only here on my blog, but on MSN too where my blog is syndicated! As an accredited film critic, who just turned in her 2024 Oscar Nominations ballot, I can’t think of a better way to let me know you like my film reviews. Thank you! You’ll be seeing more of them in 2024.
Number Six: The Complete Guide to Healthy Drinks Book from America’s Test Kitchen:
It’s really no surprise to see another one of America’s Test Kitchens books make it to my top ten. I adore reading great books and then sharing them with you in a review and more often than not,a giveaway too, because most publishers I work with are awesome and want to get books in the hands of as many people as possible. Number Seven: 5 Mother’s Day Gift Ideas She’ll Find Delightful:
Who doesn’t love a helpful gift ideas list, especially when it’s made to help you find a delightful gift for the Moms in your life? Gift guides happen to be one of my favorite blog posts to write and read. Yes, of course, I read and shop from other creators' gift guides! I love them and so do you apparently. Not only was this a favorite here on my blog, but you liked it on Pinterest too. Are we friends there? Give me a follow if not, and I’ll follow you back. I’ll be sure to share many more gift guides this year starting with a Valentine’s gift ideas guide later this month.
Number Eight: Declutter- Organize and Store Holiday Decor:
This was my first post last year on January 5,2023 and it really resonated with you all. Getting holiday decorations stored properly for the next year can be a stressful time, so I’m glad I had this helpful resource right here on the blog. I should have continued with my decluttering series last year, but time was not a friend. I’ve set aside plenty of time for this topic this year, so keep your eyes peeled for those posts. Number Nine: Dreamin' Wild: A True Story of Love and Redemption:
I was thrilled to see another film review and giveaway post make the top ten blog posts of 2023 because it means my readers have fully embraced this type of entertainment content! Thank you! I’ll continue to post about films and when possible, host a giveaway, so you can enjoy the film too. In fact, I’ll be hosting a giveaway involving a Trolls Sing Along!
Number Ten: Add Power Pearls Earrings to your Wardrobe and Help Those In Need:
Lastly, I had the opportunity to discuss my long-standing love with classy, pearl earrings. I Was honored to collaborate with The Pearl Source Power Pearls, a curated collection of the Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, and let me tell you, I adored these pearls and the fact that a portion of the Power Pearls sales went to help Dress For Success and awareness to these powerful female figures.
