Way back in February, before Nashville was hit with a devastating
tornado and before the ongoing pandemic flared up, my daughter and I
optimistically started a new monthly blog series called All My Favorite Things.
You can see the original post here.
We thought this would be a fun way for
us to share a few products, mainly beauty and accessories, that we were
enjoying that month. Then life happened and our normal routines were upended. Since
doing a monthly series seems out of reach right now, we decided instead to do a
seasonal post, so here is our All My Favorite Things Summer Edition.

Enjoy a delightfully scented home with Goose Creek Candles
in #AD, Balsam Fir, brand ambassador, candles, Christmas, homedecor, made in America, scents, winter, by Linda A Kinsman, Thursday, December 27, 2018
It’s been a couple of years since we had a real Christmas tree and one of things I miss the most is the heavenly scent of a fresh tree all season long. I was delighted to receive my first candle, Balsam Fir, from Goose Creek Candles just in time to enjoy at Christmas and beyond. I’ve been burning this candle all day and I have a delightfully scented home! I’m excited to partner with this made in America candle company as part of their blogger program for the next year and want to introduce them to you today and share my thoughts on my first candle from them.

Holiday Cleaning is easy with Mrs. Meyer's scents + Free Holiday Set
in #grovepartner #ad cleaning, free gift with purchase, holidays, homemaking, Mrs. Meyer's freebies, scents, by Linda A Kinsman, Wednesday, November 28, 2018
It's that time of year again. I bet your house is buzzing with activity,
just like mine. Thoughts of hosting out-of-town guests, throwing holiday
parties, cookie exchanges, and decorating the mantle has put me in complete
nesting mode!
Not surprisingly, my desire to
have a clean, welcoming home intensifies in November. Call me crazy, but there
is just something deeply satisfying when I step out of a just cleaned room that
sparkles and smells good.

Elevate your mood with travel inspired aromatherapy
in #AD, aromatherapy, decor, essential oils, fragrance, home, mood, natural, scents, travel, by Linda A Kinsman, Friday, March 09, 2018
We all strive to make our homes a welcoming place for ourselves and our friends and family because no matter how far we travel, there truly is no place like home. Scents play a bigger role in that welcoming feeling than you may imagine.
Scents like fresh baked cookies, or lemon zest or fresh Eucalyptus, for example, are scents that I associate with pleasant memories from places we’ve traveled too, or places I’ve lived. I’ve been reading up on Aromatherapy and the use of essential oils which led me to partner with Oojra, a woman-owned company that makes travel-inspired Essential Oil Reed diffusers and soy candles. This is Aromatherapy at its best, bringing exotic fragrances of the world into homes around the world.

cleaning. I’m putting in some domestic over-time to catch up and I’m seeing and
smelling the results of my labor. I fell
in love with Mrs. Meyer’s Sweet Basil multi-purpose cleanser a month or so ago when

everyone I know. I love all the hustle and bustle, the planning, the warmth of
an adorned home, the meals, but the cleaning? It’s a necessity that we all must
tackle, so why not make your home sparkle with one or more of Mrs. Meyer’s Seasonal Scents line? This year they are available in Cranberry, Orange Clove

I have to admit it was hard for me to give up my Sweet Basil,
but once I smelled the Cranberry- I have been using it every chance I get! I
could use either scent as an air freshener they smell so good! My family always
compliments the scent of our home each time I use a Mrs. Meyer’s product and they
love to use the cranberry hand soap I put in the family bath as well.
