Thank you Campbell's Soup Company for sponsoring this post. All opinions are 100% my own.

We may have switched our calendars to March, but the weather here still feels like February on most days.

On  those "February" days I love to send soup to school with my girls for their lunches. It's a quick and simple way to warm them up from the inside out and ensure they are eating a nutritious lunch and more often than not, I'm sending them Campbell's soup.

On the soup days- I eat soup at home as well. It's an easy way to get another serving of veggies and it's a great conversation starter when my girls get home because they will ask me which soup I chose. Plus- Campbell's soup is an excellent way to take care of my heart.

About Campbell's Address Your Heart:

National heart month may be over- but I have made a commitment to better health for myself and my family. Campbell's Soup understands that health is foremost on people’s minds, and keeping your family in tip top shape can be a challenge in these busy times.
That's why their website is loaded with tips, coupons and American Heart Association Certified Recipes like these that make serving a healthy dinner just as easy as serving soup for lunch.

Broccoli Cheddar Rice

Grilled Bruschetta Chicken

Louisiana-Style Chicken, Sausage & Shrimp Skillet

Don't these dishes look good? I can't wait to make the sausage and shrimp skillet! Hop on over to Campbell's Kitchen for more recipes, coupons, healthy eating tips and more.

Please share in comments: What's your favorite Campbell's Soup? We are fans of the classic Tomato soup and Minestrone but buy our fair share of Chunky soups as well.

When I first got the email from Mom Central calling for hosts of a Disney Celebration in our home, I was excited because Disney characters hold a special place in my heart and most especially my daughters.  We LOVE Disney Princesses, every one of them.

From Jasmine, Belle, Aurora, Ariel to Cinderella and Merida they each possess wonderful strength and spirit, hope, courage and a healthy dose of humor. All the wonderful traits we try to instill in my daughters.

So quite naturally, our party theme was Princesses. Since our “princesses” fall into the tween and teen age groups, I got creative and decided the best way to let then show their fun side would be to let them be grown up versions of their favorite princess.

We played with Makeup and hairstyles.  We did a different kind of face painting by having the girls color in face print outs that makeup artists use. This was a huge hit!

We listened to “Let it Go” from Frozen so many times, even I know most all the words now.
We had fun with all the cool goody bag treats Disney sent us that came in a very unique package- a cool American Tourist Luggage piece that will surely come in handy on our next family trip.

The clear favorite goodie was this classic love poster.

We had special princess Hot Chocolate, complete with Cinnamon sprinkles.

And lots of tasty sweets.

Throughout the afternoon, lots of laughter and smiles and sharing happened, which was quite magical indeed.

I invite you to host your own Disneyside @ Home Celebration! The fun isn't just for princesses.  Just go to Disneyside Celebrations  to learn more, see great party themes, recipes and more.

Free up your hands with a tablet stand

in , , , , , , , , , , by Linda A Kinsman, Sunday, February 23, 2014

I love office supplies and trying out new ones but I never saw a need for a tablet stand because I don’t use a tablet often. However, my daughters use their tablets all the time, so when Shoplet.com asked if I wanted to try a tablet stand free of charge, I said sure. I’m very glad I did.

One of the things I noticed right away was how small the tablet stand was. It folds down for easy storage which is a huge plus for me. Whether I keep it in my office, or one of the girls takes it to their room, it will fit in a drawer or cubby easily.

Another nice feature of this tablet stand is that you can use your tablet in portrait or landscape mode and rotates 360 degrees.

My WAHM Plan

The hands free design makes playing games, pinning, following recipes (both on and offline) a breeze. I even found it holds paperwork to ease viewing and entering information on spreadsheets.

All in all, we really like this tablet stand and find it is a good value for the price. I invite you to go to Shoplet.com to learn more about all the Kantek products.

Please share with me in comments: do you use a tablet often? If yes, do you use your tablet more for work or fun?
