As I was adding this book review to my editorial planner, I thought, "It’s not very often there’s a weekday in the name of a book title, so I should honor that by posting on that day!" Happy Wednesday, dear readers, I’m excited to share a refreshing Champagne Bowler recipe from Wednesday Night Wine-Down by Jennifer Newens with you today.

As a freelance Blogger and Content Creator, at this time of year, my mind is full of financial jargon because I prep my tax paperwork to bring to our accountant. While taxes and tax season can be stressful, I was happy to recently learn that April is National Financial Literacy Month. I’ve got three free resources to share today that will help us make solid financial decisions that our future selves will thank us for.

April Is Financial Literacy Month

Earlier this week, I found myself covering my plants due to a freeze warning in our area. I knew it was coming because I’d been reading the 2025 edition of The Old Farmer’s Almanac, which states our last freeze date is April 15, 2025. If you’re ready to welcome spring gardening, read about The Old Farmer’s Almanac's three handy gardening books.

Talking about sick children with cancer isn’t a topic I normally cover here on my blog, but watching and reviewing films is. Today, those two topics collide as I share my no-spoiler review of Audrey’s Children, a biopic film that takes on children’s cancer in 1969. Since this is a no-spoiler review, I won’t go into much detail about the children, but please stop reading here if this topic is upsetting.
