Hello and happy September, dear readers. I’m coming back from my lackadaisical summer blogging routine, refreshed and ready for all the busyness of fourth-quarter blogging and film award season. I can’t think of a better kickoff than celebrating two major milestones.

Celebrating September Milestones!

Happy Monday and happy middle of May, one of the busiest months of the year. There's so many celebrations and holidays to participate in! From Cinco de Mayo, to Mother's Day, Graduations, to Memorial Day.  Before we know it will be June with the Stanley Cup and Father's Day and vacations.  It may surprise some, but I’ve made it to my 50s and never explored wines. Sure, I’ve had the occasional glass of celebratory wine but never cared enough to explore the many nuances that come with being a wine drinker. With several spring celebrations on the horizon, filled with family and friends who adore wine, I felt it was time I started learning about wine as a beginner, especially since I’d been given three bottles of wine to try. Learning About Wine for Spring Celebrations!

Tomorrow, April 22, 2020 marks 50 years of Earth day. Every year, my family and I celebrate this special day by planting trees, visiting Centennial Park to celebrate Earth Day with other Nashville area Earth Lovers, picking up trash from roadsides, supporting local nurseries and more. However, as with so many other events normally held this time of year, things will be different this year thanks to our need to stay home. That doesn't mean we can't all come together digitally to celebrate 50 years!
