If you’ve been around a while, you know I love hosting informal get-togethers, and in my opinion, this time of year reigns supreme when it comes to hosting. Whether it's a bonfire and cookout, or a fun game or card night, you’ve got to have quick and fun snacks, and I’ve got just the thing today, thanks to Crackerology.

About Crackerology- Fancy without the Fuss:
When I learned that this company was started by three female friends who got together to play cards and eat crackers and other fancy appetizers, I thought, this is a fun and needed snack idea! Plus, I’m always willing to help support and showcase women-owned businesses here on my blog.
Janine (chief Crackerologist), DeeAnne, and Shelley saw a need for quick, high-end appetizers that would pair well with beer, wine, and cocktails. The ideas and concepts were formed, but it took many more games of cards to test and refine their recipes. After many focus groups, the kit was developed for the savvy consumer. Keeping the apps quick, easy, and upscale, the trio was satisfied with their product, and in July 2021, Crackerology launched.
The Party Host's Best Friend:
With Crackerology, they don’t just make snacks; they want to help hosts by curating experiences, which is exactly what I did by opening the Red Wine & Rosemary kit to share with my husband after work. He was surprised and delighted to learn I had something new for us to try.
This kit brings a bold flavor with a hint of rosemary. Inside, there are red wine crackers, creamy cheese, raspberry jam, and their signature crunchy cracker. When the flavors are combined, it does make for a highly flavorful appetizer!
My husband and I loved them! These bite-sized crackers are even good on their own. I may have indulged in a few plain ones while waiting for my turn to build my appetizer. The highlight for us was the smooth and creamy white cheddar spread. It pairs perfectly with the red wine and rosemary crackers and fruit jam.
My Thoughts:
These fun snack kits really are an easy way to serve an elevated version of a cheese and cracker appetizer. Next up, we’re going to try the White Wine and Basil kit, which, according to their website, is like sunshine on a cracker! I’m excited to try this light and bright-tasting appetizer paired with a white wine.
