I like having snack options on hand for each member of my family, which has to include single serve, grab- and- go options. More often than not, these snacks have to fulfill more than one craving as well. For instance, I keep beef jerky on hand for my husband who loves a salty/chewy treat, while my daughters and I prefer sweet and salty snacks. Are you a fan of yummy sweet and salty snacks as well? I’ve got two you’ll want to try then!

Sweet and Salty Snacks

Sweet and Salty Snacks

My thanks to Jax’s and Sweet Chaos for the complimentary snacks highlighted in today's post. No other compensation given. All opinions are my own.

Snack Option One:

The first snack option is from a new to me company based in California called Jax’s Monster Snack Mix.

About Jax’s:

Jax's Monster Mix

If you’re looking for a fun and tasty snack, you’ll want to try Jax’s Monster Mix. This is an all-natural, gluten-free, peanut-free snack mix for kids of all ages. Jax’s is free from added sugars, contains a delicious mixture of sesame sticks, chocolate covered sunflower seeds, dried fruit such as mango & papaya, and coconut chips, and will give your little ones the fuel they need to get through the day. Comes in perfectly portioned snack packs to place in Easter baskets instead of candy! Gluten-Free. Peanut-Free.

 My Thoughts:

I loved this snack because it has just the right amount of sweet, salty, crunchiness I crave on busy workdays. You know that late afternoon munchie, where you just need a little something to tide you over until dinner? Jax’s Monster Mix is the ticket! The coconut chips and sesame sticks are great together, but when you add tasty, dried fruit and chocolate covered sunflowers seeds, it really does quite the snack monster! My family loved this yummy snack as well, so I’ll be purchasing them again. If you’d like to give Jax’s Monster Mix a try, just head on over to their website here. Snack Option Two:

The second yummy snack option has made an appearance here on the blog before. I’ve had the pleasure of trying several Sweet Chaos Popcorn flavors and you can read my blog post here, so I was really excited to get to try their newest flavor- Cold Stone Creamery Cake Batter.

About Sweet Chaos:

Sweet Chaos Cold Stone Creamery Popcorn

Sweet Chaos, based in Perham, Minnesota offers mouthwatering flavors to tempt your loved one's taste buds, such as Cold Stone Creamery Cake Batter and the flavor I want to try next- Peanut Butter! Sweet Chaos Drizzles are Gluten Free, made with Non-GMO popcorn, and have NO artificial colors or flavors. Handmade kettle corn made by real people. Non-GMO popcorn is popped in Coconut Oil, with just the right amount of Cane Sugar and Sea Salt, and then sprinkled with delectable drizzles.

My Thoughts:

I wasn’t sure if the additions of sprinkles would make this popcorn to sweet for me, but two bites in and I was hooked! This popcorn truly is one of the yummiest sweet and salty snacks I’ve had in a while. I’ll be keeping this one on hand! And just in time for Easter, the Cold Stone Creamery Cake Batter popcorn will be sold in individual bags at Dollar Tree stores, making them a perfect addition to Easter baskets. I like the single serve options for portion control as well. If you’d like to give this delicious snack a try, go to Sweet Chaos website and use their store locator to find store options near you.

The Takeaway:

yummy sweet and salty snacks to try

My family and I really liked both of these snacks! They are yummy, afforadable options I think your whole family will like too. I hope you’ll get to try these yummy snack options soon! If you do, please be sure to share on social and tag me @ismilefirst!
