I’m back from another little mini vacation from work, feeling refreshed and ready to embrace all the “summerween” vibes I’ve been seeing. Even though we’re in the midst of the dog days of summer, I’m ready to start adding a few warm fall decor pieces, so I started in my dining room.

Warm Fall Transition Decor:
With its delightful reddish-maroon floral print, I knew it would be the perfect starting point for the late-summer, early-fall look I wanted. The hand-blocked floral pattern is so lovely in person, and I love how the sides have a coordinating stripe.
There was no coloring, fading, or running when I washed the tablecloth on a gentle cycle. It air-dried beautifully as well. I think the 100% cotton will get softer with use. I think I’ll take the time to iron it next time I use this lovely tablecloth. Do you enjoy ironing too?
How I Styled My Tablescape:
After placing this cheery tablecloth on my dining room table, I started “shopping” my home for accents for the centerpiece. First, I added a vintage wood tray. Then, I added a large golden Mercury glass vase filled with Coneflowers, Hosta Blooms, and hardy Hibiscus from my garden to bring in a touch of nature.
Lastly, I added two matching Mercury glass candle holders. I think the overall look is perfect for a late summer look now, and I can easily add new flowers to welcome in fall in a couple of weeks.
