My Thoughts:

This was such a hit with my family! We had the opportunity to try this in the days leading up to Thanksgiving and we could really taste the difference with the clear ice vs. our refrigerator ice. We all preferred the clear ice in everything from sparkling waters, to iced coffees.

Set up was so easy. I simply washed the ice basket and scoop with warm, soapy water and let air dry while I used a soft micro- fiber cloth to wipe out the interior with warm water. Then, I filled with water using the easy to see filler line on the top of the unit, plugged it in, and within 30 minutes or so, we had ice!  It’s a lot of fun watching the water run through the tray and make ice too. 

The hardest part of this whole process was finding the counter space for the ice maker. If you have long cabinets like I do, you may have to pull the ice maker out just a bit to add water and fill glasses with ice. Here’s the ice makers dimensions for easy reference.

Makes a great gift!

It may not seem like a top of the list gift idea, but trust me,  I don’t know of very many hostesses that wouldn’t love owning this ice maker!  Never running out of ice and serving quality ice at that makes this totally giftable in my opinion.
