Happy September, friends. I love this time of year for many reasons, such as the late summer days with their crisp, cool mornings and warm, sunny afternoons. Another thing I really love about September is that parents, especially Moms, get a little break in their busy routines with kids back in school, making it the perfect time to host a coffee gathering! These whimsical Language of Flowers mugs are sure to bring smiles to your guests.

About Our Name Is Mud: Ceramics and Giftware that make you Smile:
Our Name Is Mud got its start in 1995 as a do-it-yourself pottery store in New York. They opened several retail shops along the way. In 2007, they were acquired by Enesco Gift Shop, where I first learned about them while shopping for holiday gifts, so when I was asked if I’d like to review this line of mugs, I happily agreed. If you are a fan of Boyd’s Bears, Department 56, etc., you simply must check out this gift shop.
Since Enesco Gift Shop specializes in gifts for special occasions, it makes sense that they would add the lovely and whimsical line of products from Our Name Is Mud to their shop.
About The Language of Flowers Mugs:
These beautiful, 15-ounce stoneware mugs feature six hand-painted flowers. This line will warm the hearts and receive compliments at your next gathering. I selected the Carnation, Daffodil, and Daisy mugs, and will add the Rose, Violet, and Sunflower mugs soon.
Each mug comes in a decorative box, perfect for gifting, with a To and From section on the box. There are details about each flower, including what each flower symbolizes. I’ll share those below.
What Each Flower Mug Symbolizes:
Carnation- symbolizes affection, love, loyalty, protection, distinction, devotion, family, and friendship. Carnations are also the flower for those born in January, which is why I chose it for one of my daughters.
Daffodil- symbolizes hope, vitality, joy, rebirth, luck, prosperity, and happiness. I chose this mug for my other daughter since Daffodils are the flower for those born in March.
Daisy- symbolizes simplicity, future blessings, purity, humility, joy, friendliness, and hope. Daisy is the flower for those born in April, and one of my favorite flowers, so I had to add this one to my mug collection.
These are delightful mugs that feel good in your hands and will look pretty in your kitchen. I can’t wait to hand-wash these and use them. I think my daughters will love having their own special mugs for when they visit and we have coffee together as well.
I invite you to discover the delightful line of The Language of Flowers Mugs, along with the other cute and funny mugs Our Name Is Mud offers, by utilizing the links above.
As we edge ever closer to Autumn, I hope you’ll take some time for yourself and perhaps host your own coffee gathering soon.
