Truth be told, I’ve never heard of some of these art concepts, and I found flipping through the pages of this book like entering a whole new world in which I had to learn a new way of thinking and approach what I considered art.

In the introduction, the author tells of his own death experience and the promise he made to himself while he laid on his deathbed and that's where the attention grabbing name of this book comes from.
I have never seen an art book of this nature and it and the author have opened my eyes to ideas like things that happen are happenings, your life is a performance and performance is art, or the pages in which Semple explains you are an activist, change stuff please.
