Clean ceiling fans without a mess with Blade Butler & Giveaway - My WAHM Plan

Clean ceiling fans without a mess with Blade Butler & Giveaway

Happy Friday friends! I’m so excited that spring will officially arrive in just 23 days! To help me get through the cold, dreary days of February, I’ve started a few cleaning projects early this year. One chore that we may often overlook in the cold months are our ceiling fans. I clean mine every season and it is a time consuming, messy task, so I was intrigued when I got an email asking if I’d like to try a new ceiling fan cleaning tool that stops the mess. Read on to learn all about the Blade Butler and enter to win one!

Time To Start Spring Cleaning!

How to clean ceiling fans without a mess

My Thanks to Blade Butler for the complimentary product highlighted in today's post and for hosting our giveaway. No other compensation given. All opinions and love of a clean home are my own.

About The Blade Butler:

The Blade Butler Set

Invented by two realtor friends Karen and Korri, The Blade Butler is designed to reach high and capture the dust that normally falls to the floor while cleaning a ceiling fan, making it easier, faster, and safer to clean ceiling fans. Some of the key features of the Blade Butler are:

  • It is 69″ in length, to help you reach most ceiling fans.
  • It is 28″ length accommodates most fan blades.
  • Easy click together assembly.
  • Microfiber bag captures dust and is washable.
  • Easy to store with other cleaning supplies.

My Thoughts:

Me using the Blade Butler on ceiling fan

I love a clean and tidy home but dread certain chores and cleaning our ceiling fans is one of them. It’s one of those tasks that no matter how much prep work you do, you have to clean up from cleaning, which is a time consuming, energy drain. I had high hopes for this new gadget and can say, I really liked how well it worked! My tips for using the Blade Butler are:

  1. Follow the directions when putting it together. It looks straight forward, but you don’t want to pinch the strap when clicking the pole together.
  2. Stand to the side of the fan blade you’re cleaning so you can see how the Blade Butler is going on the blade. You don’t want to bend your fan blade or get the tool stuck!
  3. Toss the microfiber bag in the wash after each use.
