About ADORED 365-day devotional for young women:
Written by: Lindsay A. Franklin
Published by: Zondervan
“In an ever changing world, you can be certain of one thing: You are adored by God.”
ADORED: 365 devotions for young women tackles the tough topics teens may face in today’s world. Topics like:
- Bullying
- Social Media
- Friendships
- Dating
- Relationships
- Love
Each day features an easy-to-read. Relevant devotion paired with a scripture verse and journaling space to help our teens reflect on the day’s message.
For instance, on the Day 7 page I shared above, it asks if you have ever broken a promise to anyone. I’m fairly certain that we all have done this. Whether with malice or not, sometimes we over commit ourselves and before we know it, we have to go back on a promise. The scripture at the top brings into focus our very humanness. Then the devotion below helps unpack that scripture in a way that is relatable, not preachy.
ADORED 365-day devotional for young women wants to show young ladies how infinitely precious they are in God’s sight; how very adored they are and of upmost importance, especially in today’s fast moving society that we are not alone. Ever.
My Thoughts:
This book is for girls 13 and up and I couldn’t wait until Christmas to give this to my 14 year old daughter. She loves it and can’t wait to get started journaling her way through this book. We both noticed that one of the great things about this devotional is you can start wherever you are led to start. There is no right or wrong way to read, learn and absorb the helpful information and teachings.

As we enter into the most wonderful time of the year, let’s remember to nourish and restore ourselves Moms (and Dads if you are reading). We have been conditioned as a society to be BUSY, to over-achieve, to do and be on the go always! But what if this holiday season, we did less running and more connecting and showing our love in a more meaningful way?
Final Thoughts:
As a blogger, I know I’ve been guilty of this from time to time- but what if we cared less about the perfect Instagram photo and more about just being in the moment without capturing it with anything other than our eyes and our hearts? Wouldn’t that make our loved ones feel truly adored?
Please share in comments: How do you connect with your teens in a meaningful way during the holidays? Do you have a special activity you do together?
“Disclosure (in accordance with the FTC’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising”): Many thanks to Propeller Consulting, LLC for providing this prize for the giveaway.
