It would only take you a minute in our kitchen to know foodies live here. Our cabinets are full of seasonings, varieties of salts and peppers, dried herbs and so on. If you look in our fridge and pantry, you’ll find lots of condiments and sauces sorted (usually) by cuisine. My husband and I love to cook! Imagine my delight when an email about Holic Foods Sauces landed in my inbox. Yes, of course I would love to try their sauces and host a giveaway! Today, we are getting saucy with Holic Foods Sauces, sharing one of their favorite recipes and hosting a giveaway for a box of their sauces!

About Holic Foods Sauces:

I love a good small business story, and the story of how Holic Foods Sauces came to be is a fun and familiar one, because Tacos! According to the Holic Sauces website, Frances and Tonio Torres fell into the sauce and condiment business by accident.  It all started with what is now our signature product, Jalape├▒oholic.

"This all-natural, totally crave-able, spicy, and velvety sauce was inspired by a locally owned taqueria that the couple visited regularly to get their fix of a wonderful green sauce they served.  They were devastated when the restaurant was sold to new owners and the sauce was taken off the menu. And so, they set about creating their own sauce that satisfied their craving."

Since my family LOVES taqueria style tacos, I knew we just had to try this sauce. And honestly, I don’t think there’s a meal my husband wouldn’t try this on. While the rest of the family really likes this sauce, the hubs LOVES it!

Next up we are going to try marinated grilled Chicken using Holic Foods Sauces Honey Apello. I’ve tasted this from the bottle, and it is sweet with just a bit of heat too. This is one of those universal sauces I know we’ll use on salads as well as grilled meats and veggies because it has an olive oil base which we love.

Lastly, I want to showcase their Tahiniholic Sauce. We love cooking Mediterranean style, so this sauce is going to come in handy in our kitchen. One taste from the bottle had me slathering it on a Pita and thinking of kabob’s, or maybe my husband grilled lamb paired with grilled squash, couscous, and hummus. I

t does have just a bit of a kick to it, thanks to the Apello peppers, but it isn’t hot. I found this tasty recipe on the Holic sauces website and they were kind enough to let me share it with you.
