Getting a true snow day in middle Tennessee is rare. Getting a full week of ice and snow is rarer still. Here are some pretty captures from the weekend when our ice and sleet finally turned to beautiful snow.
Please share in comments: How much snow has your neighborhood gotten this winter?
I'm over in west Tennessee, we didn't get much over the weekend. Ice and sleet mostly. Today's forecast calls for snow starting about noon. My little one is watching to see if it'll snow and she can go out play in it.
ReplyDeleteSo often we complain about the cold weather but look how beautiful it can be!!
ReplyDeleteWe finally got some here in the White Mountains of Arizona - FINALLY!!!!! Just a trace, but makes us stop shaking just a bit for fire season. Always beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteHere in New Mexico, we got a dust of snow on Monday. It was gone by 8 am.
ReplyDeleteLovely captures - thanks for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Wordless Wednesday!
Love the pictures.
ReplyDeletepretty! I don't know how much snow-I'm guessing 10 inches or more so far. right now it's piled up and just looks dirty in the parking lots. I like the fresh white snow!
ReplyDeleteThese are such lovely pictures you posted. How I miss the beautiful winter scenes. I live in southern California and we are hoping for some more much needed rain.
ReplyDeleteHi Jay,
ReplyDeleteI saw the Memphis area mentioned often on our local weather reports too. We got a little snow Wed. into Thurs. morning again. Stay safe!
Hi Heidi,
ReplyDeleteI love your positive outlook!
Hi Jamie,
ReplyDeleteYay! so glad you got some form of precipitation in those mountains!
Hi Tara,
ReplyDeleteWell, a little dusting didn't hurt then. Now I bet you are back to sunshine. :)
Hi Jessica,
ReplyDeleteThank you and a very happy WW to you as well.
Hi Karen,
ReplyDeleteThank you! I always appreciate your comments.
Hi Alison,
ReplyDelete10 inches is a pretty good amount. We didn't get nearly that much- but I did notice the piles looking gray and dirty on the way home yesterday. I like the pretty white too.
Hi Pat,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! Here's hoping you are getting that rain you need in pretty So. Cal.
We've gotten some beautiful snow, but it sure was a killer shoveling my entire driveway (it's pretty big) all by myself. Sure I felt like a super hero, but... Man was I tired. I'm ready for spring, but enjoyed the pretty picture opportunities.
