I remember how exciting it was to see the first robin of the year! We seem to have them here year round so it doesn't seem so special. Now we look for the crocus buds!
i'm exicted about spring showing up. can't wait. ( :
I noticed the first robin two days ago. That's when I know spring is on the way.
Awww, I am in Florida so they never left. We use them to determine when a storm is over, when they come out the coast is clear.
So a robin is a signal of spring? I had no idea! Seriously.
Hi Mommy had a little blog,
Sorry to address you as such, I visited your blog, but didn't see a 1st name.
I think I might miss spying Robins if they were here all year long.
We are looking out for Crocus' too. I spied some Buttercups coming in up the street.
Have a great day!
Hi Beth,
We can't wait either! My daughters and I are planning flower beds in our minds.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great day!
Jennifer,
That makes sense that the Robins would love the Florida weather and could warn you when a storm is coming.
Have a great day!
Hi Maddie,
Robins have always been a sign of spring to me because I was raised a southerner and currently live in the south; but I'm learning that it changes with regions!
When do Robins show up where you are?
I'm looking forward to spring. I can't wait til all of my snow melts and we get some pretty little birdies too!
Yay, I love when the Robins come out!
We saw the Honeysuckle bushes blooming here yesterday in Seattle. Can hardly wait for the sun to shine on a long term basis!
Comment Starter: I love to see those first signs of spring and a robin, is a good glue, we had a a pair in our backyard about 2 weeks ago! I cant wait for the quail to bring their brood to get food, we have been feeding them now for 3 years, so they always know they will have plenty to eat!

Hi Donna,
Oh how I hope our Honeysuckle along the fence line will come back again this year.
I'm glad you are seeing signs of spring in your region as well.
Have a great day!
Hi Karren,
I would love to see your quails. Please take pictures and share.
We have Mama Turkeys and their babies come down to our bird feeder in the earlier morning quite in spring. I watch from my kitchen window as one Mom stands guards and they other pecks at the feeder to get the seed to fall.
Hi Melanie,
I actually thought about my snow bound friends when I posted this. While snow is pretty, it shuts us down in the south.
I hope you thaw soon too and get lots of birdies!
Hi Lisa,
Maybe you live in the south too. Love seeing Robins!
Have a great day.
Me too mailforrosey, me too! Come on Spring...we are all done with winter.
( Hope I didn't just jinx us). :-)
Thanks for stopping by!
Spring is such a wonderful time. You can see life growing everywhere and gives you a feeling that things can get better after a hard winter.
Well said Russell! Thanks for visiting!
