Have you ever washed off the day’s makeup only to find it isn’t rinsing off your washcloth? You rinse again, maybe try a little hand soap on the worse stains, but that waterproof mascara and stay forever lip gloss isn’t budging.  With three ladies in the house removing makeup on the daily, it can become a hassle to pre-treat each and every washcloth, so I knew from the moment I became a Biz Ambassador that this was a stain challenge I wanted Biz to win!  Here’s my simple to steps on getting makeup stains out of washcloths easily with Biz Stain Fighter.

Why Use A Washcloth:

With all the different types of makeup remover wipes on the market, some of you may be wondering why we would still be using washcloths for makeup removal and that is a valid question. We do purchase makeup wipes, and they do an okay job on getting surface makeup off, but for a truly clean face, I suggest using a soft cotton washcloth and your favorite cleanser.

Once you’ve lathered and rinsed your washcloth and face, you may notice makeup stains like I have here. Not to worry, get yourself a bottle of Biz Stain and Odor Eliminator. Add a small cap full along with your regular detergent to the wash and those stains will come out. For the tough makeup stains like waterproof mascara and lip gloss, try these steps.

Use Biz Stain Fighter:

Step One:

If possible, pretreat stains with Biz right after using the washcloth.  If it’s late at night and you just want to go to bed, be sure to dampen the washcloth before adding Biz to stains when you do pre-treat on laundry day.

Step Two:

I poured Biz in the cap and applied it with a toothbrush and immediately laundered it with a full load of towels and washcloths.

Step Three:

As you can see from this photo, I didn't use a lot of Biz on each stain. I wanted to gauge just how well the product was going to work with minimal effort on my part.  I added a safety pin to the corner of the pretreated washcloth for easy identification from the rest of the towels and washcloths in the load.

Step Four:

Since I wanted to see just how well Biz could fight makeup stains, I didn’t add bleach or any other stain fighting products to this load, I just used a half a cap full of Biz along with my regular detergent and fabric softener.

The Results:

Biz Stain Fighter did a fantastic job at removing all the tough makeup stains from this washcloth and got rid of almost ALL the stains from the un-treated washcloths too proving that Biz Stain Fighter really can easily remove makeup stains from washcloths and probably other linens as well. It leaves a clean, fresh scent and doesn't make your laundry feel weighed down with detergents.
