Light bladder leakage won’t keep me from my gardening goals - My WAHM Plan

Light bladder leakage won’t keep me from my gardening goals

Yesterday started out like many spring mornings, with grey skies and a light, gentle rain. Nothing like the previous night's storms that broke off a big branch of my just blooming Hawthorne tree! As I stood at my window and surveyed the damage, the quote "A goal without a plan is just a wish" by Antione de Saint Exupery was top of mind.

Planning out my Gardening Goals:

I pulled out my brand new garden journal, deciding to write my gardening ideas and goals down this year. There's lots of hard work and lifting ahead, so I'm not going to let light bladder leakage (LBL) keep me from my gardening goals!

You are not Alone:

Did you know 1 in 3 women have light bladder leaks? That's why I'm happy to partner with Poise®  to help us take control and stop worrying about LBL.  It can happen to us at any time and stage of our lives really. Maybe when you’re out with friends and they make you laugh so hard you fear you may pee yourself! Or, maybe you experience LBL when you’re working out, or picking up that not so light toddler; or like me, when you are doing strenuous yard work and gardening. Anybody who has fought with crabgrass in their flower beds, or shoveled mulch all afternoon can relate!

Here to Help:

This is just part of life, and really nothing to be ashamed of and thanks to the full line of Poise®  products; we can all feel protected and take that worry off our plate. I use the thinnest product in their line of pads, Poise® Thin-Shape Pads.  The great thing about this pad is it’s bigger than a simple panty liner, but not as big as a regular pad. They use thin-flex® technology so you can wear it and feel confident that it will move with you while still offering a great deal of absorbency, odor control, and protection.  In fact, Poise® Thin-Shape Pads are made with a super absorbent material (SAM) so they stay 5X drier than the leading period pad so you can feel confident all day!

Move forward with your goals daily:

I decided to not wait for perfect weather to do a little spring gardening. I started by deadheading the Pansies I bought for my containers.

I even got some potting started! It may not sound like a lot, but just those few minutes outside gardening, did a world of good for my attitude and it moves me that much closer to my gardening goals.

Spring Gardening Goals:

As we continue in this season, gardening goals include planting more flowers and herbs and working with the established landscaping we have. I want to add another shade garden bed in the front yard and hopefully, with a little planning, I will incorporate a small vegetable patch this year as well.

Do you enjoy gardening? If so, what do you enjoy growing and what are some of your gardening goals this spring?

I'm planning to try a little patio gardening this Spring. Maybe some herbs or vegetables. I have a net that you can unzip and step in I'm hoping a round plastic outdoor table will fit inside. I'm one of the 1 in 3 you mentioned, thinking I'll check out the Poise thin-shape pads next time I shop.

Hi Gladys,

I love your idea of netting off your patio so you can enjoy your patio! I hope you do get to plants some herbs and veggies too. I love to have an abundance of herbs on our back deck. They smell so good. I hope you get to try Poise pads too.
