Are you a fan of Renee Zellweger? How about Greg Kinnear?  If you said yes to one or both of those questions, chances are you like feel good/drama movies too. I think you are going to like the movie I’m getting ready to tell you about since it’s since it features both Renee Zellweger and Greg Kinnear. They are both very talented actors, who in my opinion,  play their respective parts so effortlessly that you become emotionally attached to their characters. I think we will remember them as Ron and Debbie Hall after watching Same Kind of different as me in theaters starting October 20, 2017.

Same Kind of Different as me movie

I happily teamed up with Level 3 Digital to bring you this amazing giveaway today. I will receive the prize pack offered in the giveaway to thank me for my time. No other compensation given. All opinions are my own.

About Same Kind of Different as Me:

Genre: drama, Rating: PG-13, Run time: 2:02:41, Release date: 10/20/17
Studio: Paramount Pictures/ PureFlix
Talent: Greg Kinnear, Renée Zellweger, Djimon Hounsou, Jon Voight

Words Of Wisdom:

“Nobody can help everybody, but everybody can help somebody.” Words of wisdom from a homeless drifter; words that never would be shared with the world if not for a wayward husband, a forgiving wife, and an unforgettable true story that brought the three of them together.

Storyline:
With more money than they could ever possibly need, Ron and Debbie Hall have everything they could ever want … except for a loving marriage. When Ron’s unfaithfulness is brought to light, Debbie invites him to stay—as long as he remains truthful and does what she asks of him. But when her request includes serving the homeless at an inner-city rescue mission, Ron would prefer to write a large check instead.  Guided by her faith and spurred on by the dream of a homeless man she senses will change their city, Debbie befriends a disenfranchised man named Denver. More surprisingly, so does Ron. Despite vast differences, their lives begin to intersect and they all are changed forever.

Sneak Peek:

Could you Forgive with grace?

After I watched the movie trailer, I couldn’t help but marvel at Debbie’s calm presence at the shelter, especially in front of their son. It had me asking myself how I would react if I had to deal with unfaithfulness in my marriage, people who may not want our help and more. There are so many people in this film coming from a broken place to ultimately (I hope!) a place of healing.

One Simple Act of Kindness:

Another powerful message from the movie is that we can change the world with a simple act of kindness can in fact start a movement.  This is what the co-producer, Ron Hall said:

“When you see SAME KIND OF DIFFERENT AS ME in theaters beginning October 20, you will see the impact one person can have. From Debbie Hall serving the needs of the people at her local Rescue Mission to Ron Hall stepping out of his comfort zone to befriend a homeless man to Denver Moore impacting lives near and far with his wisdom and compassion, their combined story continues to touch hearts and inspire action.”
