It’s the first Monday in March and as winter slowly eases it’s grip on our nation, I thought it was time to officially announce my partnership with the iconic beauty brand Mary Kay.Mary Kay Ash mission was simple, empower woman. She built a business from the ground up for women. Her legacy is still helping women like me and you today.

As an Independent Mary Kay Consultant, I may earn a commision should you place an order or join using the links I provided in this post. All opinions are my own.

My Why:

As some of you may remember, I have been in the direct sales/network marketing industry for many years and find it to be a wonderful avenue for personal growth and a viable income stream if you are with a company that aligns with your beliefs and goals.

During the third quarter of last year, right before Thanksgiving, I finally made a long overdue change in the direct sales company I was working with. I joined Mary Kay and have been absolutely amazed at the transformation I feel within myself. Which leads me to the first reason I joined Mary Kay.

Reason One:  My Personal and Professional Goals Align thanks to the values of the Founder:

I love the positivity and You Can Do It! Spirit that is found in every corner of the Mary Kay business. I liked that Mary  Kay Ash (in center of photo) launched her business more than 50 years ago, but she continues to be a source of inspiration to millions today. Her values live on in the company she built, and her mission of empowering women is as important now as it has ever been. Mary Kay Ash’s lifetime of achievements made her a trailblazing entrepreneur, and her lasting legacy has made her an icon.

Reason Two: I saw myself in the Consultants working their Mary Kay business:

Mary Kay was Built by a Woman, for Women and it shows! There isn’t a huge turnover rate of Consultants with this business. Most Mary Kay Consultants have been working their business for years, and for some, decades. I think that’s because for Mary Kay Ash, it was always mission possible. After experiencing inequality in the workplace, she knew she had to make a change, not only for herself but for all women. In 1963, Mary Kay Ash launched her business and disrupted the idea of “business as usual,” turning the male-dominated workplace on its head in the process.  A change champion and groundbreaking businesswoman, Mary Kay Ash dedicated her life to empowering women and putting them in control of their own futures.

Reason Three: I really love the products I’m sharing.  I use them with confidence:

Mary Kay Ash always believed that the right values could carry you all the way to the top. She remained faithful to the life lessons that shaped her as a person and used the Golden Rule to guide her, making sure she was always leading by example and lifting others up along the way. She often told others, “Never, absolutely never, compromise your principles.” Her unwavering integrity has inspired millions of women and made her one of the world’s greatest entrepreneurs and leaders.

I love my Mary Kay Business!
