Start your day off right with this hearty breakfast cereal - My WAHM Plan

Start your day off right with this hearty breakfast cereal

This post has been sponsored by SheSpeaks, Inc., General Mills, and Cheerios. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I’ve been trying to take better care of myself this summer by focusing on positive ways I can switch up my daily routine. I’ve been moving more, drinking more water and listening to my body when it says I need a break from work. These are all good ways to show myself some love and I’m feeling really good about my progress so far! I still need to work on eating breakfasts though. It’s a proven fact that a good way to start your day off right is with a hearty breakfast and I’m happy to share a new breakfast cereal I love and will eat most mornings!

New Cheerios Oat Crunch Breakfast Cereal:

I’ve never been a big breakfast cereal at breakfast time eater, preferring to nosh on a handful of cereal as an afternoon snack, or sitting down to a bowl of cereal with milk for a late night of movie or binge TV watching. Cheerios classic and Multi-Grains are a beloved family staple, so I was really excited to try their new product and share it with my family and with you!

Look closely at this bowl of cereal and you can’t help but notice these are not your regular O’s! Cheerios has taken things up a notch by adding whole oats and cinnamon to their multi-grain Cheerios and it is a delightfully hearty bowl of delicious!

Delicious and good for you:

You are still getting all the good for you fiber and nine vitamins and minerals Cheerios is known for. There and no artificial flavors or colors as well, but what I really love is that a 1 cup serving provides more than half the daily recommended serving of whole grains because Cheerios packed 5 types of whole grain into this tasty cereal making it a cereal I can feel good about serving my whole family.

Cheerios Oat Crunch is perfect straight out of the box (how I’m currently enjoying it) and with milk. I drink 2%, and the flavors were great together and there was no sogginess! I love a good cereal with lots of texture that can hold up to sitting in milk for a few minutes. My daughters want to try this with Almond milk next and I want to top my Greek yogurt with them.  I can even see myself topping a few fall favorite recipes with these cinnamon-y good oat crunches!

Shop and Save at Walmart:

I can see this hearty breakfast cereal becoming a family staple as well, so I’m excited to share that Walmart carries the big 26-ounce family size box! I love that I can just add a box or two to my cart anytime I’m shopping at my local Walmart. You can also add them to your shopping cart if you use Walmart’s free grocery pickup.

If you are looking for a new flavorful breakfast cereal that’s hearty enough to stay with you for hours, I invite you to give Cheerios Oat Crunch a try now during the slower summer mornings. That way, your family will already be familiar with it so it will be a perfect go-to for those crazy busy back to school mornings when you want your breakfasts to be quick, easy and hearty.

When I first was diagnosed with diabetes my doctor told me the best cereal was Cherrios--luckily I happen to love them. Tell your girls I use almond milk all the time!! I will check the box and if the carbs aren't too high which they probably are not--I will grab a box--these sound and look delicious!!
