Fresh ground coffee lovers will love this manual coffee grinder + giveaway - My WAHM Plan

Fresh ground coffee lovers will love this manual coffee grinder + giveaway

Have you ever been awakened to the delightful scent of freshly brewed coffee? It’s a delightful way to start your day. I have so many good memories surrounding that smell. From my childhood with my parent's brew to today, where my husband and I take turns making special coffee on the weekends. What makes it special you ask? Freshly ground beans! My husband and I have been sipping coffee together for a long time, we are true coffee lovers. One of our favorite hobbies as a couple is trying new coffee blends and ways in which to brew it. I love gifting him gifting him coffee related items, so when an opportunity from Coastal Brew arrived in my inbox, I thought this non-electric manual coffee grinder is perfect for my husband!

What goes into making a great cup of coffee:

Full disclosure, we aren’t coffee snobs. We use regular pre-ground coffee on weekdays because it is simply easier and more economical to do so since we make a full pot every morning. We reserve our freshly ground coffee brewing on weekends and holidays when we have more time.  Here are my must-haves for making a great cup of coffee.

  • A clean coffee pot and machine
  • Cold filtered water
  • A good quality coffee bean (Blue Mountain is superb)
  • A good coffee grinder that’s easy to use, clean and store

About Coastal Brew Non-Electric Manual Coffee Grinder:

Coastal Brew manual coffee grinder for coffee lovers #ad

What drew me to this coffee grinder is its sleek stainless steel look and design. I knew my husband would appreciate its contemporary vibe and I wouldn’t mind seeing it out on the kitchen counter if he wanted to keep it there.  Upon receiving our grinder, I read all the information provided so I’d know how to properly use and care for this grinder when it’s my turn to use it.

Grinder Features:

  • Fully adjustable Ceramic blades (burrs) for even grinding
  • Easy assembly
  • Easy to use
  • Quiet - non-electric means a quiet grinder so you can make coffee without waking anyone
  • Easy to clean
  • Compact- perfect for camping, RV’s, home offices, dorms
  • Adjustable Grind

The last feature is one of my favorites. I’m sure my husband and I will enjoy learning how to grind our coffee beans for a variety of coffees such as:

  • Espresso
  • Latte
  • Turkish
  • Macchiato
  • French Press
  • Cold Brew
  • Drip Coffee
  • Percolator

This grinder promises the perfect grind every time whether you need coarse, medium or finely ground coffee.

My Thoughts:

Just like with any new gadget, there is a bit of a learning curve, so it took me a couple of tries to get my ground coffee to have the same texture of pre-ground coffee or that texture that I get from using my electric grinder.

I know my husband will find the right balance of beans and grinding technique quickly and easily when he tries it out this weekend! I loved how small and compact this grinder is. The size makes it super easy to add your beans quickly, hold with your other hand and start grinding.

I really like it and I think you will too! You can learn more about it (and maybe even purchase one) and all of Coastal Brew Coffee Co. by visiting their store on Amazon. This is my referral link and if you make a purchase, it will go into my coffee fund.
