Taking my chances - My WAHM Plan

Taking my chances

I love entering sweepstakes and contests. Something about the chance of winning draws me in. Just this week I've entered an American Girl Doll contest, a $ 50  gift card for Bed, Bath & Beyond, a $100 Amazon gift card and two book sweeps. I'm feeling lucky!

Not only do I love entering contests, I love sharing them as well and have plans to offer many chances to enter and win on My WAHM Plan. So when one of my affiliates ask me to share this sweepstakes, I happily agreed.

Join the American Family community and be entered in $50,000 cash sweepstakes!
Entering here to win also means joining the American Family community! See your name on Who's Doing What, cash in points for cool stuff, save your favorite recipes or games, and lots more.

Yep, it's just that easy. Fill out a form and you will be entered to win! Enter HERE.

Let me be totally upfront: this is an affiliate link so I will be compensated from folks entering. I'm talking enough to buy a coffee or two. Now, if you win by reading this post and taking your chances... maybe you will buy me a coffee or two. Good luck!

Are you currently hosting a contest on your blog? Please let me know in the comment section below and I'll stop by and enter. Only family friendly stuff and USA sweeps please. Thanks!

I seldomly enter contests because it can be time consuming to do, but every now and then I enter them for friends. Sadly for the same reason I rarely host giveaways. I know readers love them, but the rafflecopter thing confuses me. I'll have to learn it though as I want to use it for my 1 year giveaway, and I'll be giving away recipe software sometime next week.

Hi Heather,

What a great idea to host a giveaway on your blog-aversary! I will admit raffecopter has a couple things that make you go huh? and can be tricky to work with. Hey, what about random.org? They generate a winner too. I'll send you a link.

Linda and Heather, I've seen lots of people using Google spreadsheets instead of rafflecopter. Here's a post about it: http://www.familyfriendlyfrugality.com/bloggers-how-to-use-google-docs-forms-for-giveaways/

And personally, I really like giveaways where there are only one or two ways to enter. Sometimes I'm not up for leaving a dozen comments, and I know I'm not the only one!

Hi Annjanette,
Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.
I do agree that some giveways using Raffecopter go way, way overboard on how much you have to do to enter! When I use them, I keep it real simple, 3 options and you only have to do 1. Easy-Peasy!
